Why do we even buy them presents?

The best thing about Christmas is.....BOXES!

First we colored our train and posed for a picture...

Then we wrestled a bit...

Then Nathaniel made sure we all got in line.

A special thanks to Caleb for being an incredibly good sport.

Let me show you my cars...

Nathaniel enjoys showing Caleb how things work recently.

A few days ago they spent some quality time with their race cars. Nathaniel was such a good sport and didn't even care that Caleb drooled a bit on them.

It warms my heart to see them play  together.

Caleb slow down growing okay?

Pumpkin Carving and Tree Picking

Nathaniel was very excited about decorating the Pumpkin this year!

Once Noah realized that what we were doing involved getting messy, he was pretty excited too!

Taking a break from scooping to pose for a picture

Nathaniel's preschool had a Thanksgiving feast. Unfortunately there was only enough room for one parent to come so Matt, Noah and Nathaniel went. They had a "feast" preschool style with sliced turkey sandwiches, french fries, pretzels, corn and cookies. The preschoolers also sang Albuquerque was a Turkey which both Nathaniel and Noah have enjoyed singing recently.

On our way home from visiting family, we stopped at Mill Creek Tree Farm and picked out our Christmas tree. The farm was so nice with tons of trees to choose from. The boys had fun running around and helping pick out the tree. They also really liked the tree wagon and helping Daddy cut down the tree.

One of my favorites from our Christmas card photo shoot.

Where did October go?

October flew by...I can't believe that we are a few short weeks away from Thanksgiving. We had an awesome month. We went to Matt's parent's condo at the beginning of the month for a mini vacation. The boys had a blast visiting the animal zoo and running around Seven Springs Ski Resort's Fall festival. We even rode the chairlift to the top of the mountain; which was a very scary experience with a three year old, one year old, and three month old. I have no pictures of the ride because I was near a panic attack but here is a pretty one from the top of the mountain.

They love running around the pond and up the mountain at the condo. Nathaniel was nice enough to take a break and take a picture.

This was the first year that Nathaniel really understood the concept of Halloween. He was at first frustrated that we wouldn't let him be a scary monster but agreed to the train conductor idea. Noah's favorite part of Halloween was the fact that one of our neighbor's had a dog.

I am excited about the upcoming holidays and all the fun things we are planning on doing as a family. I love creating our own little family traditions. Thanksgiving will be here before we know it!
